Happy Mental Health Day

A holistic approach to health means that every aspect about you is taken into consideration. The foundation of Holistic Medicine is the Triad of Health which encompasses an individual’s chemical health, emotional/mental health and structural/physical health.

In celebration of Mental Health Day, here are 13 Tips to Boost Your Mental Health:

  1. Track gratitude and achievement with a journal
  2. Start your day with a cup of coffee
  3. Set up a getaway
  4. Keep it cool for a good night’s sleep
  5. Experiment with a new recipe, write a poem, or even paint
  6. Feeling anxious? Do some coloring for 20 minutes to help you clear your mind
  7. Take time to laugh
  8. Get off the grid
  9. Dance around while you do housework
  10. Relax in a warm bath once a week
  11. Has something been bothering you? Let it all out….on paper
  12. Try prepping your lunches or picking out your clothes for the work week
  13. Take 30 minutes to go for a walk in nature
