Who doesn’t love hot cider or a hot toddy this time of year?
Here’s the bad news: those drinks are basically sugar water.
But here’s some good news: you can have your toddy and benefit from it too!
Here’s a basic quick recipe for our Not So Hot Toddy:
4-6 ounces of warm water
1 tablespoon Organic, raw & unfiltered apple cider vinegar (good for everything from hair, skin, gut, joint, and joint health)
1/2 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice (aids in supporting a healthy liver)
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon (helps regulate blood sugar levels)
Raw honey to sweeten (it’s antibacterial, anti-fungal, and has been shown to help with digestive issues)..you can also use Stevia instead of honey
Fancy Optional Add-Ins:
a slice of orange
some fresh ginger
a pinch of cayenne
a chai tea bag
Mix all ingredients together & enjoy!
